«Fiocco Lamentations» Musik aus der Kathedrale Vol. V (2020)

This recording, with works by Fiocco and Vivaldi is performed by the soprano Kimberly Brockman together with the Collegium Instrumentale and Michael Wersin on the continuo organ. The settings of the Lamentations by the Belgian composer Joseph-Hector Fiocco (1703–1741) are among the particularly impressive baroque versions.

Erling Wold’s Missa Beati Notkeri Balbuli Sancti Galli Monachi is a beautiful, evocative and meditative setting of the Latin Mass and is named after one of the cathedrals most famous musicians and poets, Notker Balbulus (840-912).
